The reason for our existence

According to our vision statement, is to reach the lost, free the oppressed, and equip the believer. This is based on Luke 4:18-19, where Jesus declares that He has been anointed to proclaim good news to the poor, freedom to the prisoners, recovery of sight to the blind, and to set the oppressed free.

STRATEGY AND MOTTO

Our church's strategy is to provide opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth through training, so that every believer in CDL can discover and fulfill the purpose for which God created them, as described in Ephesians 4:11-16.

We encourage everyone to participate in the "Discover Your Purpose" teachings, which are divided into four steps:

Step I. "Know God"

Step II. "Connect with His Church"

Step III. "Confirm Your Design"

Step IV.  "Fulfill Your Purpose"

Our main motto is "Every believer is a minister," based on Romans 6:22 and Acts 26:16, where it is stated that we are made servants of God and appointed as ministers.

Our Values

1. The Bible is our only authority.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."

2 Timothy 3:16

As the word of God is the only true authority that can be relied upon, we accept the Bible as our manual for living. Our first question when facing a decision is, "What does the Bible say about it?" We practice daily Bible reading, Bible study, and Bible memorization. The Bible is the basis for everything we believe.

2. The Priesthood of the believer.

"and made us kings and priests to serve his God and Father--to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen."

Revelation 1:6

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

1 Peter 2:9

The Bible teaches us that every believer is called to Christian service, regardless of their vocation. We practice the truth that every believer is a minister by urging our members to find a place of service and ministry. Every believer has authority and direct access to God through prayer and Bible reading.

3. Living guided by the Spirit.

"(Jesus said) 'I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.'"

John 15:15

We believe that the only possible way to live a Christian life in holiness is through the power of God in us. We seek a daily life of dependence on God and his Spirit to help us do what is right. (Phil. 2:13, Eph. 5:18)

4. The Family.

"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

Genesis 1:27

It is the main axis in God's plans, initially consisting of a man and a woman and later their children.

5. Prospering.

"Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well."

3 John 2

There is no doubt that it is God's will for his children to prosper and advance in all areas of their lives, so constant development and growth should be the norm in our lives, families, businesses, and church.

The goal is to lead each person to constant growth and advancement to their next spiritual level.

Colossians 1:28

"You won't feel like you're part of our church until you get involved in one of our house groups."
